This is the final edition of FullStack HR before I embark on my traditional Swedish vacation. I'll pause posts for five weeks to spend time with family and friends, travel a bit, and celebrate my 40th birthday (!).
But as a last edition, before I do all of this, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of you who continue to read FullStack HR week after week.
Since I shared my initial thoughts on ChatGPT and HR in January 2023, it's been a wild, wild journey. I pinch my arm daily, marveling at the conversations, discussions, and opportunities that have emerged from FullStack HR.
I've had the privilege of working with organizations far and wide, from global giants to small local firms. Each collaboration brings equal joy, and I feel tremendously fortunate to be part of shaping the future of HR and to have the opportunity to learn from all these marvelous organizations.
It’s an extremely rewarding feeling to hear others describe their approach to generative AI, knowing they've learned from or been inspired by my work.
Nothing makes me prouder.
(Well, perhaps watching my kids grow up, but that's about it.)
My hope for the latter half of 2024 is to continue to encourage HR professionals to embrace all things digital, especially AI-related innovations.
To continue to lower the barriers and help more people understand that what we need as a society is a focus on the behavioral aspects of this technology.

And lastly, I hope to continue collaborating with forward-thinking global organizations to encourage HR to use AI.
The hard part about AI & HR isn’t AI - it’s HR - and we got this.
